Baked Cajun Shrimp Recipe

This baked shrimp dish is the essence of Cajun cuisine. Perfectly seasoned and served over Cajun Dirty Rice with andouille sausage, it's a meal bursting with flavor.


**Ingredients:**

- 12 shrimp, peeled, deveined, and cooked

- 1 tablespoon canola oil

- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

- 1 teaspoon onion powder

- 1 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1 ½ teaspoons salt

- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper

- ½ teaspoon thyme leaves

- ¼ teaspoon ground oregano


**Instructions:**


**1. Preheat Oven:**

- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

- Line a cookie sheet with foil and lightly oil the foil with cooking spray.


**2. Prepare the Shrimp:**

- Place the shrimp in a mixing bowl.

- Add the canola oil to the bowl, cover, and gently shake until all the shrimp are coated with oil.

- Add the seasoning mixture to the bowl with the shrimp.

- Arrange the shrimp in a single layer on the prepared cookie sheet.

- Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until the shrimp are cooked through and lightly browned.

- Serve the baked shrimp warm with a slice of lemon wedge for added zest.
