Every household needs a great biscuit recipe. Let these heavenly Butter Swim Biscuits be yours! Baked golden in butter, these homemade buttermilk biscuits are soft, flaky, and moist with crispy edges.

Ingredients:

- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

- 2 cups buttermilk

- 1 stick butter

- 4 tsp baking powder

- 4 tsp sugar

- 2 tsp salt

Preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. In a medium-sized bowl, combine all of the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.

3. Add the buttermilk to the dry ingredients and mix until a moist dough is formed.

4. Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl, then pour it into an 8x8 or 9x9 baking dish. Make sure the baking dish is deep enough so the butter doesn't overflow while baking.

5. Place the dough directly on top of the melted butter in the baking dish, using a spatula to spread it evenly until it touches the sides.

6. Cut the unbaked dough into 9 even squares, allowing them to be immersed in the melted butter.

7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown on top.

Enjoy these delicious Butter Swim Biscuits for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! They're the perfect accompaniment to any meal, especially when paired with raspberry jam.
