Crack Slaw is a delicious low-carb dish made with coleslaw mix, Asian seasoning, and your choice of ground meat. It's an easy way to enjoy Chinese-inspired flavors in a healthy meal.
#### Ingredients:
- 2 lbs ground beef or turkey (your choice)
- 2 bags (14 oz each) Dole Classic Cole Slaw Mix
- 4 green onions, chopped
- 3 tsp minced garlic (or adjust to taste with fresh garlic slices)
- 3 tbsp soy sauce (light soy sauce recommended)
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tsp ground ginger
#### Instructions:
1. **Prepare the Meat**: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef or turkey over medium-high heat until browned. Drain any excess fat and set the meat aside.
2. **Cook the Vegetables**: In a separate large pan, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the chopped green onions and minced garlic. Stir-fry until the onions are tender.
3. **Add Cabbage Mix**: Add the coleslaw mix (cabbage) to the pan along with the crushed red pepper flakes and ground ginger. Stir-fry until the cabbage is mostly tender but still has a slight crunch, about 5-7 minutes.
4. **Combine Ingredients**: Add the cooked ground meat to the pan with the cabbage mixture. Pour in the soy sauce and mix well to combine all the ingredients. Adjust soy sauce to taste if needed.
5. **Finish Cooking**: Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until everything is well incorporated and heated through.
6. **Serve**: Remove from heat and serve hot.
