Garlic Shrimp Spaghetti is a quick and easy pasta dish perfect for busy weekdays. Savory, succulent shrimp cooked in a garlic butter sauce paired with light and airy spaghetti, making it a family favorite.

**Ingredients:**

- 1 lb medium shrimp, deveined and tails removed

- 1 lb spaghetti noodles (adjust based on family size)

- 6-8 garlic cloves, minced (adjust to taste)

- 1/4 cup butter

- Olive oil (3 drizzles)

- Italian seasoning

- Fresh ground pepper

- Red pepper flakes

- Salt

- Fresh herbs (optional, according to taste)

**Instructions:**

1. **Boil Pasta:**

   - In a large pot, boil the spaghetti in salted water until tender. Add a drizzle of olive oil and fresh herbs if desired. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining. Drain the pasta and set it aside.

2. **Prepare Shrimp:**

   - While the pasta is boiling, wash and pat dry the shrimp.

3. **Cook Shrimp:**

   - In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the shrimp and cook until they start to turn pink and curl, about 3-4 minutes.

   - Add the minced garlic to the skillet with the shrimp. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the shrimp are fully cooked and the garlic is fragrant.

4. **Combine Pasta and Shrimp:**

   - Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the shrimp and garlic. Drizzle with olive oil and add Italian seasoning, fresh ground pepper, red pepper flakes, and salt to taste.

   - Gradually add the reserved pasta water, starting with 1/4 cup and adding more as needed to create a light sauce that coats the pasta without being too watery.

5. **Toss and Serve:**

   - Toss all the ingredients together in the skillet over medium heat until everything is well incorporated and heated through.

   - Adjust seasoning if necessary and serve hot.

**Optional:** Garnish with additional fresh herbs or a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese.

**Enjoy your Garlic Shrimp Spaghetti!**
