1 cake mix (white or yellow)
½ cup cocoa
½ cup sugar
2 cups chocolate chips
1 cup chocolate syrup
8 oz. tub Cool Whip
2 cups coconut, shredded 
How To Make Mounds Cake:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x13 baking dish. Mix the cake according to the package instructions; add cocoa and sugar, blend well.
Pour the cake mixture into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle 2 cups of chocolate chips over the top of the cake.
Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and poke holes in the cake with a meat fork.
Warm the chocolate syrup and pour it over the hot cake. Cover and cool the cake overnight.
Mix the Cool Whip and shredded coconut together for the frosting. Spread it over the cake and chill before serving.
